Randall Diamond
for Saratoga Springs
City Council

A succinct summary of Randall Diamond and his vision for Saratoga Springs...

Why
Randall

Let’s be real – many of us running for City Council express similar ideas about what Saratoga Springs needs. After reviewing my fellow candidates’ profiles, I noticed that our core messages often overlap. That’s why I want to highlight, in concrete terms, what truly distinguishes me—and why I believe I’m the clear choice for your vote.

I am endorsed by Council Member McOmber and Council Member Barton.
I bring a fresh perspective and deep knowledge of our city, having studied Saratoga Springs’ municipal plans more thoroughly than many longtime residents. My dedication has also been recognized at the highest levels, including special Congressional recognition for service to my community.

I have spent more than 3,150 hours volunteering on the City Parks Commission, County Mosquito Abatement, the Governing Board for San Ramon Valley Regional Hospital, and serving in a multitude of other community roles. I have also graduated from the Saratoga Springs Citizens' Police Academy. In the last couple of months, I’ve dedicated 4-5 evenings a week knocking on doors across neighborhoods, listening to residents, and gathering your ideas and feedback because the whole reason I’m running for office is to represent you.

As your Councilman, I will work to enhance Saratoga Springs through forward-thinking initiatives with a strong focus on community wellbeing.

  • With 15 years of experience in mosquito control, I’m ready to introduce a mosquito abatement program to enhance quality of life.

    • Saratoga Springs has more water frontage than any other city in the State of Utah and we must do all we can to prevent disease transmission like West Nile virus.

  • Other priorities include implementing AI-driven sensors for more efficient traffic management, ensuring construction projects have minimal daily impact on residents, and advocating for the creation of a premier regional park on the land we intend to annex in southwest Saratoga Springs.

  • Large community parks will remain a top priority, and I will continue to champion our first responders to keep Saratoga Springs safe and support even higher levels of service.

I share many priorities with my fellow candidates, but I stand apart because I have consistently put in the work and have the experience necessary to provide a proven track record of effective community leadership. I hope I've earned your vote on August 12th and November 4th.
